The Maison Chlo was founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, an Egyptian-born Parisienne who wanted to liberate womens bodies from the stiffly formal fashion of the time through a luxury ready-to-wear offering. Since its inception, the Maison has entrusted a succession of emerging talents to support and carry on Chlos mission: Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Phoebe Philo, Hannah MacGibbon, Natacha Ramsay-Levi, and now, Gabriela Hearst. Through the luxury eyewear offering, Chlo proposes singular styles characterized by bold and colourful forms.
